The start of 2026 has already been marked by meaningful moments for Laurel Alexander Interiors. From celebrating the Grand Opening of a beautifully curated, to-the-trade design showroom in Nashville to preparing for the announcement of new design honors later this month, this season feels like a reflection of the partnerships, craftsmanship, and intention that guide our work every day.

Each milestone, in its own way, represents what matters most to us. Thoughtful design. Trusted relationships. And a commitment to creating spaces that feel as good as they look.

The Nashville Grand Opening Experience

Recently, I had the pleasure of attending the Grand Opening of a designer-only showroom in Nashville, celebrating alongside the ownership team, leadership, and many of the furniture and décor line representatives who support interior designers behind the scenes.

The evening was graciously hosted and beautifully executed. Layered room vignettes showcased the depth and versatility of the collections, while the atmosphere remained relaxed, welcoming, and focused on connection rather than sales. It was inspiring to see so many exceptional brands presented in a way that felt livable, intentional, and relevant to how people actually live in their homes.

Spending time with the teams who make access to these resources possible was a reminder of how collaborative this industry truly is. Behind every finished space is a network of partners who care deeply about quality, craftsmanship, and the long-term success of a project.

Why Trade-Only Access Matters for Clients

Showrooms like this one play an important role in elevating interior design projects. As a to-the-trade resource, it provides access to furnishings, finishes, and materials that are not available to the general public. This level of access allows designers to curate interiors with greater depth.

For clients, this means better sourcing and fewer compromises. It allows us to design spaces that feel layered and personal, rather than assembled. Working with trusted trade partners gives us the ability to focus on what matters most: creating homes that support daily life while standing the test of time.

Looking Ahead to New Design Honors

February also brings exciting news for Laurel Alexander Interiors. We are honored to be announcing new design awards later this month, recognizing recent projects and the collaborative work behind them.

These acknowledgments are especially meaningful because they reflect more than finished spaces. They recognize the process, the partnerships, and the client relationships that shape each project from start to finish. I look forward to sharing more details soon.

Nashville Meet & Greet Appointments

As part of our continued expansion into the Nashville market, we are now welcoming new clients for Meet & Greet design appointments. These one-on-one meetings are designed to be relaxed and informative, offering an opportunity to connect, discuss your goals, and explore how we work together.

When appropriate, these appointments may also include a guided visit through a designer-only showroom, offering insight into the resources and process that support our work. Whether you’re planning a primary residence, second home, or investment property, these conversations are tailored to your needs and your vision.

If you’re interested in scheduling a Nashville Meet & Greet, we invite you to begin with a brief introductory call. This allows us to connect, learn more about your project, and determine the best next steps.

I’m grateful for the relationships that have shaped this journey and energized by what’s ahead, from new partnerships in Nashville to upcoming project and award announcements.

As always, thank you for being part of this story. More to come soon.
